Hi
I have the same problem
After sudo apt-get upgrade my Rpi4gb c03111 (rev 1.1) and now do not boot with my usb key.
So i have try to reinstall with iso official from linuxcnc server but same problem do not boot from USB.
After that i have install iso official from linuxcnc again on a sd-card, this boot correctly via sd-card but after another sudo apt-get upgrade now i have no more usb keyboard etc. (but they work fine before update)
I'm lost

I am working on a new SD card image, but it takes a few hours at a time to make one, then a few minutes to test it, and then another few hours to try again.
The process above will definitely work.

Before that i have use again the official iso and only do apt-get update (without upgrade)
and i have installed the necessary for RIP successfuly
