This should be fixed now, download 2.1.2 and reinstall.

Hi,
Great tool but I'm having a problem. I'm running Linuxcnc 2.9.2 on a RPi5 with MESA 7i76E and 7i85S boards. In the Setting/Jog Slider Settings the three Angular Velocity setting are greyed out so I can not enter values. The result of Build Config is a message in the Info tab :Settings Tab:Default Linear Jog Velocity must be greater than zeroMaximum Linear Jog Velocity must be greater than zero

Is there something I've missed in the settings somewhere?
Regards,
Nigelp, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }

If you don't have any rotary axes the angular velocity settings are not used.

For linear axes you must set the default linear jog velocity.

Just looked at the images and it shows default angular jog velocity must be set. What axes do you have configured?

Is this the right place to ask another question? If not I'm sorry.
New to LinuxCNC and after messing about with the pi interface went out and bought a 7i95T.
So I'm trying to set it up even though it's still in the post. Default Metric, 7i95T XYZ and I get a set of good defaults. I can go through and add all my numbers or not and it builds.
However when I reopen that ini file my XYZ is gone and I just have Z and that is in as Drive 0.
I must be doing something dumb as this would have been noticed long ago.
Please tell an old man with a mill (but no python although time-served on C++) what he has missed so I can improve rather than re-enter stuff. I got MesaCT from the github page yesterday.

Attach your ini file to a reply and I'll check it out.

Thanks for using Mesa CT.

Edit: looks like I broke something in 2.1.4, 2.1.3 does work as expected. I'll figure out what's broke in a bit.

This is what it creates with just default metric and 7i95T
It is all OK.
When I reload it to modify things it isn't even right on the first page where XYZ has become Z

Got it figured out, fixing one thing the other day and it broke loading the ini file. Download the deb and reinstall. Note: the RPi debs will be updated in a bit.

git pull
Magic. What I type stays.
My board has arrived in the UK and is expected tomorrow so the learning curve can only get steeper now but I can move forward.
Thanks.

Hello,
I assume I'm in the right place, but sorry if not.

I saw a lot of videos like 7i92 and easy-peasy setups and decided to use PC+Mesa instead of smth like SZGH-CNC990(1000)TDb-*.
I have a lathe with the servo (HLTNC HL-T3D driver + motor brake) in Spindle + 2 step motors (for now, but same servos in the future in each axis) + step for ACT for another spindle (milling) + at least 2 optical rulers + encoder for spindle (optional, because I'm going receive position from driver for now and rely on this info, but then going to switch to dedicated spindle encoder).

So I bought 7i95T. And install LinuxCNC and... Pncconf wizard doesn't work with new boards because of PIN naming (as I understand) and this is only the beginning. That's why I need (correct me, if I'm wrong) MesaCT. Am I in the right direction? Or do I have to fix somehow Pncconf (the main problem is that XML connector name is NOT "P1", but "STEP/DIR+ENCODER+I/O" and python to int convert issue)?

Thanks
