Hab ich aber auch noch nie gemacht, weil ich keine Tastatur Shortcuts nutze.

Try this
lsblk -o UUID,VENDOR,ID
Then try open FSTAB if possible and edit it by replacing the UUID of your drive from the resulting list
sudo nano /etc/fstab

i don't get that on the latest release so its difficult to say what is causing it on your setup unfortunately, could be a yaml setting perhaps, that is where i would start looking first.

Hi One problem solved and one remain ,I replaced the analog optical sensor to a "digital" one and the revolution meter start to work . the reading is ok and the reading is controled with a speedometer. the other problem is the red and green LED weryfing to start the process from the G-code program  G97 S600 M3 The program start at 150 rpm and the red LED starts at 350 rev, it is mirror action , it should start at ca 450 and stopp at ca 700 revs ,it is programd with 150 % tolerans .

That's prepayment, but even the full payment seems too cheap

+1
US $3,595.50 is still way to low, but i have seen this before, price is low but the shipping is sky high, something like 936$ shipping for a 350$ machine.
From experience of some of my clients, they ordered a 9000$ machine with this size with no ATC, payed, then got another invoice for shipping and customs for 4500$, then had to pay nearly 5000$ our tax and our customs, despite the invoice of 4500$ from them stating that our customs are included there! ~19000$ all in, several of them, not just one.
Our country often gives grants for such equipment, so people keep buying them, leaving them collect dust for some time then sell them on. Disgraceful! Some do use them, those that work, that is, as the failure rate is way to high for a new type of Ethernet controller they use lately.

My ip has been blocked for at least a week. I use a password manager, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I don't see from the other posters what the procedure is for getting unblocked. It's a business static ip, so I can't just reboot the router.

Thanks for your help, I'd love to get back on the forums on a real computer.

The only way they can do this for under $1K delivered is to ship it in a rather small box, with LOTS of small parts, and you have to put it together and get it all aligned.
Even still, I can't figure out how they can do it this cheap. Buyer beware!

Questions about milling machines with linear scales

Category: Milling Machines

I had a badly worn (1938) manual Bridgeport that I converted to CNC by adding a ballscrew assembly. Everything had some amount of spring to it, but there was a lot of wear in the ways that made it possible for the table to rock in several different ways. I finally found a much newer R2E3 Bridgeport (BOSS8) machine that was built for CNC from the ground up. Also, the ways are in vastly better condition. Well, there is SURE a difference in accuracy of machining! The old machine was tolerable, the new one is excellent! I also made a MUCH more compact CNC retrofit in the existing servo cabinet on the right side, and completely removed the electrical cabinet on the back of the base.
