Yes - I hit power and lcnc thinks it is moving. The servo stays in PreOp.
My mistake - the changed files were not copied into the folders.
Now I have success - I have errors

Mmmhh - in my understanding just the cia402_homecomp.so is missing - could this be right?

What's up with guys posting random stuff about PUMA and bitcoin all of a sudden?

Category: Off Topic and Test Posts

Moved to "off topic...."
-
Those are scams as pretty much if someone gets a hold of your crypto wallet and move assets to another wallet, even god can not get those assets back.
The same guy posted the Puma thing, most probably malware when clicking on the link, basically if you click on it, your PC is not yours anymore as they have full control and all the info within. Yes, even credit card info if you ever ordered something online.
Puma were quite good at one point in time ... long ago.
-
In general:
-never click on links, ever
-never click on e-mails, ever
-never open any websites, except what you know for sure is OK
With e-mails it is very easy, if someone you know or work with sends you an e-mail, ALWAYS call them to confirm it is from them, otherwise delete WITHOUT opening. This is extremely valid for whoever uses Outlook or any Microsoft stuff/windows/office.
Etc, etc.
-
Edit:
Same person posted about online casinos just now
Always from the same provider in UK through a VPN or Proxy in Florida, USA.

Just report it and we will delete it, one of us usually notices it but it’s not always easy when it’s posted on existing topics. I for one do not read every post.

Might be cool to make a switch circuit for homing with potentiometers tho, just sayin'.

Some guy posts a rant about how another guy stole his bitcoin or something.
He then re-posts it 3 times!!!

And why is a guy posting stuff about how PUMA athleticswear is a good investment.
First of all, it is not.
Second of all, PUMA kinda sucks.

And most importantly, it has literally nothing to do with anything even remotely CNC-related.

PWM going into an analog converter indeed

Current config is like this

net spindle-cmd-rpm => pwmgen.0.value
net spindle-on <= spindle.0.on => pwmgen.0.enable
net spindle-pwm <= pwmgen.0.pwm
setp pwmgen.0.pwm-freq 2000.0
setp pwmgen.0.scale 22800.0
setp pwmgen.0.offset -0.0710526315789
setp pwmgen.0.dither-pwm true
net spindle-cmd-rpm     <= spindle.0.speed-out
net spindle-cmd-rpm-abs <= spindle.0.speed-out-abs
net spindle-cmd-rps     <= spindle.0.speed-out-rps
net spindle-cmd-rps-abs <= spindle.0.speed-out-rps-abs
net spindle-at-speed    => spindle.0.at-speed
net spindle-cw <= spindle.0.forward

I went the same way but without success. I combined my working files (Beckhoff modules are working as they should) with the ones from MobiusToast. No error on startup but unfortunately no possibility to jog the axis as well. forum.linuxcnc.org/ethercat/54965-steppe...ervo?start=40#329744

After having a functional setup for my Beckhoff modules I tried to combine my files withe the ones from MobiusToast to tryout the settings for one of my servos. He mentioned that the files are working for him an that the one axis would at least be moveable.
Surprisingly I have no errors when starting but the servo stays in PreOP and the axis or the motor is doing nothing when jogging the axis.
What could be missing or what could be my mistake(s)?

17 VFD spindle PWM (0-2000Hz)

Is this PWM (for a PWM --> analog converter)

or a rate (0 to 2000Hz frequency output)

Reading variable from ini no longer works?

Hello,

In my view, not necessarily the best idea.
For my part, I felt very useful and pleasant to comment.
It works in other places too.
And I also see no problem that everything that comes after a double cross is simply a comment if it is in the same line. The possibility of creating extra comments lines remains.
The only thing I can think of is that I recently edited the INI and because the comments could have inserted without switching on the milling machine, I can't think of anything else.

What I really miss is an understandable change overview between really every single versions or the place where I find something.

This has done the problem.
Sorry for the sometimes unhappy choice of Google translator, my modest English is even worse.

All the best and best regards, Frank

Feature Request: ramp piercing (aka moving piercing)

Category: Plasmac

Sorry to post on a old topic but I wanted to see if this functionality was in qtplasmac in the 2.9.4 install or if you need to be running from the 2.10 master?  Also, has anyone done moving piercing in Fusion360 CAM?

Forget the pots, you can do without them, might need adding a home switch.
And also open the possibility of working with roll's of material, meaning not being limited to a certain length.

Would a compartor with some sort of reference changer circuit that changes triggering voltage based on motor dir work?

When motor dir is positive, it sends a positive limit signal when it spin too far.

When motor DIR is negative, it sends a HOME signal when the axis reaches the HOME location.

(comparator + NAND?)

Will post schematic.
