I found build comming up short when I tried it also. I recomend building from source. I have done this and Gmoccapy works just fine. Here is my in stall script, it builds a simulator and works in 12.04 and 10.04. Just edit out what you dont need but, it will install and Gmoccapy works as intended. Make sure you set the permissions to run as program.

Have you forgotten to add the install script?
I think it would be a good Idea to include your script in the WIKI page.

Hi Norbert,
Thanks for the explanation. I see that compiling from source is the safe way right now. I hope though that soon the buildbot version will be available. I'll also try the HAL examples and MPG, thanks for the hint.
The Wiki is great help.
BTW: on wiki the screenshot says "spindel" and "Zurücksetzen". Can you translate it?

In my glade file the button is called clear and because of my local settings it is automatically translated to "Zurücksetzen", I know that this is ugly and wrong translated, but at the moment I believe the most important is more documentation.
At a first step, I changed "spindel" to "Spindle" and the button lost its text and got an icon.
I will replace the images in a minute or so.
BTW: How can I upload images to the WIKI? At the moment I link to my own server.
@tjamscad
Wow, what a long script. I will see to include it to the WIKI later on, or may be I make a shorter one based on the live CD.

Yes, it is but from a fresh install of either 10.04 or 12.04 it works right out of the gate and you dont do anything but start it.
