gmoccapy 0.9.9.7

ver. 0.9.9.7
- make gmoccapy react to external mode changes, i.e. start program with

net start halui.mode.auto => halui.program.run <= hardware.button
can be used, but....

I strongly recommend to check for the state with halui.mode.is_auto within your hal and only enable halui.program.run if the GUI is in auto mode!

I took all precautions to avoid starting a program when it is not secure, i.e. you should get an error if you try to start the program using halui, if you are in settings mode, as I force manual mode for that pages!

I would prefer to make my own "halui" pin, but that has to be discussed with the other developers first.

gmoccapy 0.9.9.7.1

Attention : Hal pin renaming!!!!

ver 0.9.9.7.1
- replaced the hal_scale_jog_vel with a normal scale,
as there is no need for a additional hal pin
- renamed hal pin
gscreen.hal_hbar_spindle_feedback to be gscreen.spindle_feedback_bar
gscreen.hal_led_spindle_at_speed to be gscreen.spindle_at_speed_led
This way all spindle pins are together in halshow

I cannot think of any reason not to use a provided pin for run program.

Consider stop, pause, resume as well.
Your fix for the program exit should work.

Thank you

Jim
.

I have to agree with Jim. I always build my machines with a start, stop and pause button external. I think it is needed as a feature.

Marius

Halo Jim and Marius,

with the last push, all your wishes should work, using the known halui pin.
Please test and let me know. If this does not work as expected, I will introduce my own pin, but I try to avoid to code something otheres have done allready, unless I need to.

Jim,

The Exit Button behavior is still the old one, as I will make that feature selectable on the settings page, but first I wnat to finsh tool measurement.

gmoccapy 0.9.9.7.2

New gcode.lang file,

resulting in better gcode highlighting.

gmoccapy 0.9.9.7.3

- modified a little bit the gmoccapy_plasma screen, now also the speed info tab is hidden to make the rest fit better
- plasma.py now supports persistence variables, meaning the values are saved on closing the GUI and restored on restart of the GUI The values are stored in a file called plasma.var in the config dir.

Marius has began to make a very informative gmoccapy_plasma WIKI
