This Shuttle box is not working OK, hardware errors running latency-histogram with or without GLX.
So I will have to find another candidate.

I would definitely suggest trying the Stretch ISO then.

Have to check first that my 7i90HD is ok, did not get mesaflash to find anything on --epp

Is Stretch OK with PPort?

Did you make sure that your parallel port is set to EPP mode in the BIOS?

I get the same error on my laptop also EPP

You typically need to go in to the BIOS to enable EPP for motherboard parallel ports.

I am not sure how you do it for PCI cards.
