Sounds like you really need to get your hands on one RJ45 crimping tool and you can have whatever length you want!
Just pop down to Australia and you can borrow mine!

Slowly in my pace parts are been done.
Need to get my hands on one short CAT6 shielded cabl, 10cm or so.

I have the crimp tool and suitable connector but no shielded cable, will get one donor 1meter long shielded patch cable in the mail that I will cut down to suitable length.
Done >5000 crimps in my days so that is not a problem but material/cables are as I no longer run any business and materials has run out.

Just cut the end off the cable you are using (or buy one) and then you only need to crimp on one connector. I have to say I hate crimping RJ45's but I'm getting better at it! I know the feeling. I bought a 300m roll to do our house and ended up short and had to buy another roll. Eventually I used it up fitting IP cameras.

Crimping is easy using HQ tools and 'correct' connector to cable in use !!!!

Nice!
The connector is good so you get all conductors visible to check before crimp.
But, nothing about solid or multi stranded wires as regards the connector.
