Yes, you can contact Mesa directly,

I asked specifically about switching the DC side of the field power because
if the card is repaired/replaced, if you switch the DC Field power, the
repaired/replaced card will be damaged as well.

(BTW do not apply fieldpower to the damaged 7I76E avoid further damage)

I smoked my 7i76e today

I have destroyed a few arduinos because I did not have spacers under the boards and I put them down on something metal bridging contacts.

Me too. I ended up buying 10 of them to keep up with the smoke signals!

With the 7i76e, there was no way it was powered up until it was fully mounted though

Well.... The card is on the bottom buried under cables directly connected to power supplies...
Just to reply on the implication...

I have setup some raspi and lolin32 for IOT and mqtt etc. :woohoo:

Update: Thcad300 arrived yesterday! Unfortunately no information from Mesa if the replacement 7i76e card as promised is on it's way... :S

Got time to read Hal and see Youtube Videos from Swolebro with lots of great Linuxcnc Info!
All the best!

does the tool coordinate system differ when you setup 1 or 2 ??
I have a problem understanding machine coordinates and tool coordinates..

I thought tool coordinates change from + to - and Gcodes then as well ...
