This is the machine's first test cut, another square using the wizard with leadin/leadout.
Quite different than the old setup. I have yet to dial in my cut parameters with this new duramax retrofit machine torch and the newer type consumables...so it just gets better from here forward.
This old Dell starts acting up after it's been on for a while. The latency rises and watchdog comes in, then on a power cycle while it's still warm it has difficulties booting. I think at a minimum I'm gonna replace the HDD and maybe with a SSR. Then see if that clears up the other issue.
Anyway, the plasma table is working great so far.

Video of the pictured cut. The PC tripped the watchdog again. But the cut quality and whatnot is all there.

I think I have the watchdog and latency errors resolved now. Popped a SSD and doubled the memory (was 4GB), I've left it on all day and periodically monitored it and no issues whatsoever.
After 7 hours I cut this...the vid is for Tommy, he likes motion-pictures lmao!

It's really nice to just be spending time tuning it in. I keep waiting for some issue to pop up, that v1.0 has me keyed up!

Sometimes going back and getting the basics nailed down can solve a lot of issues. I am glad your machine is up and running. Looks like you will have some fun with it.

Ooops, I've only ever used 4 gb!
But it is great to see you flying now. The thing is it might be a learning curve getting your machine going but you only ever need to do that once. With some other systems, you'll fight with it forever!
