Exact same behavior. Ill check the relay.

Was the behaviour the same, do #1 & #3 miss #2 & #4.
It doesn't make any sense to me.
Does your relay have a light to show it is doing something? (although the pulse is probably a bit quick)

Must be something with my plasma then. Is all you changed was the torch on time?

Do you have a replacement relay, i think some solid state relays only indicate that they have an input.

Yes, thats all I played with. the 45XP manual says to dimple at 50 ms so we are on the right track I think but the time delay between firing the torch and the arc starting is likely quite variable between cuts so I think the count down needs to happen after the THCAD voltage confirms we are > 0 volts. Then the plasma won't know we tricked it!.

Ok tried 999 and G4 P10, works
999 G4 P3 works but the P10 created a better mark.

Stefan will have a few spare when a THCAD-5 turns up for him. I will say I had to rethink my Ohmic power supply sensing trigger. I moved it from the ohmic enable to spindle.0.on so it was on all the time just for fun but when we started using spindle.2.on, it was a problem! It now turns on with the machine.
And yes changing the connections.hal file was the final thing I needed to do.
