I have a theme file customized for five axis reality.
I also worked hard on the qtdragon.ui file to adjust the buttons to five rows.
What do you think about the layout of the hand movement buttons as in the screenshot? (this is just a suggestion).
I think you need to make some button icons with the rest of the letters, but I can try to do it.

Looks awesome. Perhaps share it in the QTVCP section cso Chris sees it. Perhaps he can add it as an optional setup in qtdragon.

Actually, when I think about it, using the preference file to set the axis names on the buttons or they are read from the ini file would be cool.

I like the jog control button layout you showed, but I don't use 4 or 5 axis machines, so other may need to chime in.

Qtdragon already has 5 rows of axis buttons so I'm not sure what you changed there (I haven't tested your changes yet)
Icons are needed - I'm just busy for awhile to work on that.

Rod, button labels are easy to change in style sheets if wanted, or do you mean be able to set which buttons control which axis?

Chris, I was thinking that because there are a number of 5 axis kinematics models  in 2.9 now such as XYZBC, XYZAC etc, the most flexible approach would be to set the DRO labels by parsing the ini file from

[TRAJ] COORDINATES =  XYZAC

You would need to skip duplicate axes that are there for joint axes. This should provide full support for  2,3,4,& 5 axis machines (or more)

the 4th and 5th axis do morph into the 4th and 5th axis from the INI.
XYZ should too - but I didn't want to risk breaking them yet.

What I meant was that the fit of the layout was not good, because there were buttons too tight, one button too short..

Maybe you didn't enlarge the window to a larger size.
In a small size it looks quite good.
On the pictures, small and large size, and small and large corrected size.
That's what it looks like to me.

Ahh, I get it. I made the screen bigger in testing but not stretched enough horizontally to see it.
I'll push your changes soon. Thanks you.
