I am working to verify the voltage and amp settings, keeping in mind the max amp is no more than 2000 Ohms. as per Todd's suggestion.
Do not mix amps and ohms, first is current flowing through, second is resistance. Diferent things and diferent testing procedure.

I realize you are not well practiced with electrical circuits. But you really need to know what the wires do. It almost sounds like this has a differential input and you are applying voltage to ground and one leg. And that is why it is taking so much voltage to move the motor.
Best, Dan.

My advise to anybody w/o a bunch of control experience or as you were so kindly put it " you are not well practiced with electrical circuits " to make you box with everything needed plugged in ready at one time (making shore you are correct) so if you move it for any reason it stays as a unit.
tommylight, I here what you are saying. Still working the answer.
Many thanks!!
