Hi there,
did some little adjustment to the table.
It was almost perfect just sitting in the fitting-keys.
The cleaning of the contact surfuces really did it.

First fit:
The original plastic nut literally turned to dust.
Don't know if it is correct, but I made the thread M38x1.5

Hi Bob,
Don't get too excited, I doubt my draft HAL/INI will work without editing and correcting,
Hi Hanno,
Nice progress. I get bad gateway errors on the two links you sent though.
I was machining some aluminium spacers for a friend today. Haven't cleaned the chips out of the try for a while, and the mesh got clogged so the coolant overflowed onto the floor. What a mess.

Thanks Hanno, now it worked. You can't argue with those numbers. Hard to argue with zero!
One of my friends had me mill a couple of spacers for him yesterday. I made a video of it.

Hi Mark,
your videos are really nice. Tutorial like, entertaining, showing the essence of your work. Exactly how I like them on youtube.
It is almost zero, more like 0,005mm which seem to be the factory tolerance.
The table and the X-axis are perfect now according to my estimation.
Does anyone know the specs MAHO delivered their machines with?
How are the specs on such machines, generally ?
Z is hard to measure, as the weight continuosly pushes down but stabilizes on the other hand.
Y is easy like X and I will adjust it soon.
I'm currently connecting the A-Axis and tuning the Servo-Controller.

Thanks Hanno. I guess I'll have to run a clock over my table now to compare. Also have to clean out the coolant drain.
