When I asked Mesa directly about availability, I got this answer from Katharine Wallace:
"/.../ Due to the chip situation we are currently redesigning in new chips in all our our most selling products estimating two months per board. We will be building both types depending which chip comes first."
This was on 2022-01-25.
Edit: "the chip situation" referring to the global shortage of semiconductor devices apparently caused by reactions to covid-19.

We also wrote to Katharine, she said that 7i76 is out to end of 2022
Thats horrific.
I need to get 4 kits 6i25+7i76, and urgent.
I even agree to buy used cards to solve problem.
Can anyone help with?

The 6i25T will not be available until mid 2023 (chip availability issues)
Other options with similar I/O are:
7I92TM +7I76 (2 weeks or less) or
5I25T + 7I76 (1 Month or so)
7I96S + 7I84 ( Stock )

Thanks for the reply.
The MESA website indicates: "The 7I96S requires LinuxCNC version 2.9 or greater."
It seems the current version is 2.8.4
Also, do you know the difference between the two 7I92TM boards listed (other than the $30 difference) ?
