Thanks for the reply.

The MESA website indicates: "The 7I96S requires LinuxCNC version 2.9 or greater."

It seems the current version is 2.8.4

Also, do you know the difference between the two 7I92TM boards listed (other than the $30 difference) ?

The 7i96S works with 2.8.4 and 2.9, what link are you looking at that says "The 7I96S requires LinuxCNC version 2.9 or greater."?

JT

I see three boards for 7i92, but with TF, TM, and TH suffixes. The manual is the same for all three, so are the photos. Anyone know the differences?

Also, will the 7i76E will be available at the same time as the 7i92T boards?

The 7I92T boards should be available in about a week

7I92TF female DB25+HDR26
7I92TH 2X HDR26
7I92TM male DB25 + HDR26

7I76EU will take longer

I'm planning to build a new machine with Mesa Ethernet.
Purchase at mesaus.com.

Now we are operating 3-axis CNC with parallel port and China BOB.

The one I plan to make is also a simple 3-axis CNC.
I want to keep the budget down and probably won't expand it in the future.

There are many types, some are out of stock, and I have lost sight of them.

Which one should you buy?

7i76e(out of stock)
7i92TM + 7i75(or China BoB?)
7i9s(out of stock)

Should I wait for stock to come back?

Hi, does anyone know when will the mesa 7i76e be back in stock?
I'm currently in the process of buying all the parts needed first then installing it on the machine.

Currently choosing between,

7i76e (out of stock)
or
7i76 (on stock) & 5i25 (out of stock) / 6i25 (out of stock) and so on.

Is there any alternatives or how long is the wait time on 7i76e? I need all the features on the 7i76e based on the guide i'm following.

Check if there are 7i92, coupled with 7i76 that makes the 7i76E.
Or, 7i96S can still be found, it has less IO than 7i76E, but otherwise it is very close, and you can attach a 7i76 to it.
