Thats strange, "hm2_7i77.02ac" means you _are_ using serial numbers

I will try powering down the 7i77 and the computer and try it.

Its not related to the 7I77 or the computer... This is a driver setup issue
All sserial names are enumerated by sserial port and channel numbers if use_serial_number is false
so it should not be possible to have a name like "hm2_7i77.02ac" unless
use_serial_numbers is true

Then if we only load one channel digital, and not the analog it should work properly?
Just for testing the theory.
Rebooting and power cycle the 7i77 my thoughts were some bit stuck, and that would fix it sio I can use it without use_serial_)numbers.

Nothing sticks on the 7I77
Everything should work properly if you truly have use_serial_numbers disabled

Yup, no issue without use_serial_numers=1.
Thanks,
Bob

Sorry about the misleading advice, I wasn't aware of this quirk of the 7i77.
