mesa card 5i25 kernel error

I try to upgrade the RAM capacity to 4Gb .... there is a little bit less hight the value of latency test on live cd. I try to install debian ....

If you (cncbasher) or PCW can suggest my a better motherboard (mini-itx form factor and cpu on board) for a better result with wheezy + 5i25 + 7i77 I can try it next monday.....

I don't think this is CPU related (a D2550 should be fine if a bit slow, if a D510 works a D2550 should be about the same)

BTW the 49 usec of latency with wheezy is probably fine for a servo or hardware step system

Mesa hardware can work OK with pretty bad latency (up to say 500 usec latency on a 1 KHz thread)
if encoder/stepgen sample retiming is done on the FPGA card via the DPLL

My intent is to realize 5 axis encoder analogue signal ..... at these time I have 32000 max jitter for 2 hour of youtube videos with debian wheezy ..... with ubuntu 10.04 only 17000 ......

I have run 20 time myfirst configuration and some time have a realtime error equal to ubuntu ..... release is not important .... is important new-realtime.

PCW I have already disable audio from bios... fan at standard up .... I try to attach the config if you see anythings to do.







if the solution is change motherboard I accept any suggest


for language question ..... if install debian whit italian support the intallation fal !! If install whit english support is all OK!!

I can confirm a laguage package bug ..... new installation Ubuntu10.04 + linuxcnc2.7 but in english language ....


I can see this time SS0 and SS1 .....

Also can confirm that: debia wheezy + linuxcnc .iso if install with english language I can install without problem ... if choice italian language the installation fail ...
