Ok, first thing, lets just get rid of this in your Router.hal:
# Load Classicladder without GUI (can reload LADDER GUI in AXIS GUI
loadusr classicladder --nogui custom.clp

[edit]

I just noticed that you somehow lost a bunch of lines in your Router.hal. Copy these back in between whats in line 20 and line 21
addf pwmgen.update servo-thread

net spindle-cmd-rpm => pwmgen.0.value
net spindle-on <= spindle.0.on => pwmgen.0.enable
net spindle-pwm <= pwmgen.0.pwm
setp pwmgen.0.pwm-freq 100.0
setp pwmgen.0.scale 1166.66666667
setp pwmgen.0.offset 0.114285714286
setp pwmgen.0.dither-pwm true

Absolutely no idea how these lines were deleted. I am getting an error as follows
Cant attach(how) but
Debug file information:
Note: Using POSIX realtime
HAL: ERROR: function 'pwmgen.update' not found
./Router.hal:21: addf failed

Edit I managed to clear that error with
loadrt pwmgen output_type=0
Still in process of finding out how to start spindle

I tidied up your config.
Unzip this and replace your config with the contents.
Try and report any errors you get.

Hm, you still have all those unnecessary files in there that I deleted. So please DELETE the folder "Router" in your config folder and put the extracted folder "Router" from the zip I posted in there. Then report .

Hang on I found an error in the config I posted I will post another shortly...

[edit]

Ok, so again:
1- DELETE your folder "Router" in the folder "config".
2- check that the folder "config" does NOT contain a folder "Router" anymore
2- Unzip the attached "Router.zip" into your folder "config"
3- Check if the folder "config" contains a folder "Router" again.
4- start Router.ini from the terminal.
5- report any errors

Here is the "Router.zip" to unzip into your "config" folder after you have completed steps 1 and 2:

Thanks again and progress. I had spent some time, again, cleaning out and then created a new config. Followed your instructions although I do not know how to start from terminal. and just used the desktop icon. Linuxcnc booted up and touchoff now working so nearly all ok.
I am trying to find a way to start my spindle. I have used the Hal Watch and this changes when I activated on/off. Sould I have changed a pin in the Stepconfig?

It is a Chineeze BoB with "MACH3 Interface board"
It has connections for 0>10vSpeed spindle and PWM
