Was that question addressed at me or someone else?
If me, here is some of them
-Dell something 980, installed it yesterday, worked all day with a base period of 50000 while doing other stuff on it
-Lenovo M93, works fine
-HP Z220, tested for two days, works fine
---
Have to try on:
HP 8300 USDT
HP Z420
Acer Switch 5 tablet
Lenovo IdeaPad Y700 with Nvidia graphic
and maybe on Lenovo ThinkBook G3 and some others,
Not sure when i will have the chance, though and i have other PC's with Ryzen 3600 and 3700X and AMD and Nvidia graphics.
-
On a personal note, i still do not like some of the Cinnamon's stuff, but i managed to get the temps and loads to show on the panel, so i might just stick with it.
Also, for production machines, i will continue to switch to Debian 12 BookWorm, those use Inkscape and LinuxCNC so all is good there.

I have one problem. After install, everything loaded and worked fine. I needed to go back and look at a few things on mint 21.2, swapped drives and mint 21.2 ran fine. The problem is I can't get Linux Mint Debian Edition 6 to boot again. No problem with 21.2. I see the same problem with bookworm. LinuxCNC run's no problems there.
This is the problem I see on the HP 8300.

I switch drives daily and often, sometimes several times a day, never had any issue with booting, but that does not help you, so
-were the two hard drives connected at the same time?
-did you update/upgrade Mint while it was on
-do you have "secure boot" enabled? Disable this, now and always.
--
if all of those are "no", then check the wiring first and foremost, SATA connectors can be inserted backwards, after braking the little tab that does not take much effort.
Then check the BIOS to see if the drive is enabled, on HP press F11 (not sure) at power on to bring the "boot menu" and see if the hdd/ssd is listed there.

Tommy,
No, I unplug the other drive while building a system.
No, I did the upgrade with no extra drives on the system.
No secure boot, although I tried with it on also, no joy.
The old 21.2 boots no problem though.
I will look tomorrow on F11. The boss has plans for me tonight.

Had the Dell Optiplex 980 wired to Mesa 7i92 for 2 full days running gcode, works fine, no dropped links or latency issues at all.
