But setup is kind of strange. For same pc on debian from iso list, i needed to nohz=off and nomideset to get 22-25 delay.and isolcpus=1. Here only the latest one. With two other system is slugish and result is worse. And i have lpt on pcie card. I can see it, but it does not show error if any other adress is beeing used. Normally xe000 is shown in lspci.
Also on i have left speed step on in bios. If turned of - cpus is at 800 mhz all the time. Strange..

Tested it today - working nice. Except it freezes few times, while putting in out parport. So maybe hardware thing / noises. On my venerable foam cutter. And of course due to lover latency its even sounds differently. Normally it runs on t61 laptop, which have nothing good on latency side. But it works .

And my lmde was dead after adding dev version for halcompile. Which is easy to understood.
But - after reinstall all - first it does not need to manually add python ? It was not working at all. Some updated libraries. No official rtai kernal with mint yet ?

www.linuxcnc.org/dists/bookworm/base/binary-amd64/
and LinuxCNC probably from here
www.linuxcnc.org/dists/bookworm/2.9-rt/b...xcnc_2.9.3_amd64.deb
Might also need linux-headers from the first link and rtai-modules
