Most of the stuff is in Github: github.com/andypugh/LatheMacros
The images are all in the .svg file as different layers.
The fusion 360 models that the SVG files came from might have moved with a change in how Autodesk store data.
The various models are here:
a360.co/43OnIFj
I made the SVG layers by creating a shaded isometric drawing of each component then exporting the drawing to SVG.

vmt. Can confirm that your fixed firmware works for me and that I can compile functional f/w by making the file substitution back to wordpr.vhd.
Cheers.

LinuxCNC-RIO - RealtimeIO for LinuxCNC based on FPGA (ICE40 / ECP5)

Category: Computers and Hardware

yes, the advantage over shiftreg is that the evaluation of e.g. encoders is already carried out on the external fpga and only the finished values are transferred

in der ini die Karte eintragen:
[HMOT]
CARD0=hm2_7i96s.0

dann kannst in der Halshow unter:
Pins
hm1_7196s
die entsprechenden Pinnamen einsehen und ansehen/beobachten

diese kannst du dann in der Hal setzen, z.B.:
# --- Maschine on ---
net machine-is-enabled => [HMOT](CARD0).ssr.00.out-00

# --- SPINDLE-ENABLE ---
net spindle-enable => [HMOT](CARD0).ssr.00.out-01
.

Is there a way to indicated what G_Code line you were on after an E-Stop press in QTDragon? Just goes back to 1.

Tunning PID Loop, encoder on the linear axis, not on the motor shaft

Category: General LinuxCNC Questions

Hello Tommylight, your approach is very accurate. Starting from the values you propose, I was able to make relatively smooth movements. I would only highlight the need to lower the D = 0.001-0.005 a little more, since the motor emits vibration with the proposed range of values. Regards and thanks.

Linuxcnc 2.4.5 with Ubuntu 10.04 , Terminated with Error!

Category: General LinuxCNC Questions

Hello , Newb here. Just bought 2 , very nice Bridgeport and Jet mill retrofits , with Microkentics Steppers and PICO Universal Stepper cards , from the estate of a friend. Machines are very nicely built.
They sat idle since 2013, the Cmos batteries were dead . Ive been working on the .ini file of the Jet mill , to correct the homing sequence.
Everything was great , fixed the Z Axis homing . Powered down the control to plug the A axis in . Now on power up , it will not load Linuxcnc 2.4.5.
Is there a way to decode the error message , to see what i need to change, to return functionality ?
   The computers are bare bones machines, no network capabilities , just USB.
             Where can I look , or were do I Start ?

Problems with Lichuan Ethercat servo drive

Category: EtherCAT

Thank you. I tried both V1.04 and V1.11.

But I couldn't make servo drive move in LinuxCNC main screen.
I didn't see any error on screen,  but servo drivers didn't become "Servo On" state when I pushed "PowerOn"

Where do I need to check ? ( I used to use another tiny LinuxCNC system and machine , but it was stepper.., I used step conf. )
Do I have to set some servo parameter from switches on servo driver ?
( No load is connected to servo motors for now. )

Servo Driver Panel shows "20ry" (2 is blinking.)

I tried both V1.11 and V1.04 and this configuration,
forum.linuxcnc.org/ethercat/52341-proble...rive?start=60#304887

I have 3 sets of Lichuan Servo (Driver+Motor), I want to use them as XYZ CNC.
