Hi
I have installed and tested the plasma version of nCAM, it looks good.
I have a Comment.
The torch should start outside of the cutting path, in the scrap piece, this is named "Lead In",
thanks for the great work.

Very interesting, I will have another look at it. Have you tried the options in the shape you want : Cut inside or outside ? But as I see in the drawing this is not what you are talking about.
I have heard of "Lead in" and "Lead out" but was not aware of the meaning
Regards
Fern

For what its worth, if you download the demo version of Sheetcam, and load a DXF file, it will show a couple of different leadin methods, show them on the screen and generate the Gcode. The demo version has a limit to the number of lines of code generated but it will be enough for demonstration purposes. Most leadins I see are an arc rather than a straight line so you don't get problems on the corners.

It might be worth mentioning that lead-in and lead-out is also used for milling, its not just a plasma thing.

If the latest update does not solve the issue, we will have to hard-code the sub-directories
Run setup first then lcnc with ncam embedded

Hi Floris
I see the problem is not what I expected (I was unable to view your video until this morning)
I also see that even with the previous version it 'works' except it does not refresh automatically. I started to have this problem last week and the message on my pc is :
"target application died or uses a Tk version before 4.0"
I will see what needs to be updated. Your file does not show that message.
However, if you use lcnc menu file->open, you should be able to load you project ngc file
Regards
Fern
PS
I just tried gmoccapy and it works perfectly for me, what about you ? Maybe the issue is with axis-remote.
I also note that you were not able to edit preferences. Retry with the latest ncam version I just pushedand you may notice some preference values not loaded. Don't give up

Hi Floris,
I just upgraded to lcnc 2.7.8 and changes are reflected immediately in lcnc simulator, no more "target application died or uses a Tk version before 4.0" message. Really do not know why your's do not work properly
