Hi thanks for your answer. Yes i saw your Macros and i think they look really good. You did and do a great jobs there for all, thank you for that! But as far as i understand them, you can only use one at a time right? and there is also no macro for a free contur ? or do i miss something?
edit: oh sorry my bad, they are from andypugh of course! so thanks andy
Hi Giovanni,
I went back to this... and now turning works!
The issue before was it wouldn't allow negative values for E_Z.
I did do the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
dpkg -i linuxcnc-uspace_2.9.4_amd64.dev
added from ncam import NCam to /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gladevcp/hal_pythonplugin.py
So in upgrading from 2.9.3 to 2.9.4 I have no idea what changed, but something did. Sorry for the bum steer.
Thanks for your help. Cheers!
Last edit: 1 year 2 months ago by cadcam. Reason: Added some more detail.
i made a new guide for installation NativeCAM on LinuxCNC.
The last guide from Giovanni is one year old, in the time between this forum-thread was growing.
With this new version i want to share all from the LinuxCNC-Forum topic compact for an easy and fast installation.
Some points i add like starting NativeCAM in a different language like GERMAN or FRENCH or integrate it on gmoccapy.
Thanks to FernV, freemoore and Giovanni for their work to get NativeCAM running with LinuxCNC 2.9.4
