You could set it so it just clears the 50mm tube.
PlasmaC is pretty good at high speed probing now so maybe you could try that as long as you have enough movement in your float switch.
Earlier you said that you made Z slower because it had some issues. You should have the JOINT_2 velocity and acceleration set to what the actual velocity and accelleration is that you reqire then set the AXIS_Z ones to twice that value.

FYI, i have probing set at 4m/m and at 150mm high on a 185mm travel, with setup speed of 9.6m/m and max speed at 12m/m.

Yes, I saw it, but still can't understand how it supposed to work: because it still probes the height with the float switch even it's in the radius of the IHS Skip

There is a short description here.

Then I don't understand how the IHS skip option works, because in the plasma guide there is no explanation about it. So I suggested, that if the IHS skip is active, it shouldn't search metal sheet and assume that it's the same height like it was at the end of the cut(or at the beginning of the cut when thc is off) thus I shouldn’t activate float switch. But it seems, I am terribly wrong

Many thanks! I will try it within in week.
And I just realized we have been using PlasmaC for more than one year already and it's amazing. Thank you for your outstanding work!
