This was in Mode 1, will test mode 0 next.
Damn, in mode 0 it was doing it all the time yesterday!

Suggestion:
Run from line works perfectly, but when stopping a run it reverts back to full gcode, how much trouble would it be to stop it from doing that and remaining in run from line till reload?

That always seems to be the way Tom.Spent half day trying to make two machines sleep, not once!

I "think" it wouldn't be too difficult, seems like a good idea, I will take a look.Suggestion:

Several days back i went to check a machine that uses QTPlasmaC and found every setting back to default so as a normal person i thought the owner has deleted them by accident....
Today i start the big machine (updated yesterday, worked all day no issues at all) and low and behold everything is at default as noticed by 600V on the voltage display, but since i always have backups i just copy and paste the pref's file>
-start from the desktop shortcut=works OK,
-exit>start from shortcut=empty,
-copy again >right click on ini>open with LinuxCNC=works OK,
-exit>start from shortcut= works OK for several times
Note, all machines have a startup shortcut and it worked OK always, the desktop shortcut uses /usr/bin/linuxcnc while the startup shortcut uses linuxcnc only, although i doubt that changes anything, but i do close and open LinuxCNC quite often and had no problem with this till using the desktop shortcut on both machines.

Had another watch, that is exactly what is needed. How is this Tommy?
When stopping the machine it would also move the gremlin view to the start so everything else would go off screen and required a lot of scrolling on big plates then finding where it got stuck and moving on, gets very annoying very fast as the client has power issues so stops are normal there.
This should be perfect, thank you, as always you are magnificent !
