You need to enable it on the Parameters Tab:
linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/plasma/qtpl...tml#qt_run-from-line

I have pushed the fix for this. I should have used W.kerf_width.value() This also affected a few other shapes.

Hi I am trying to use QtPlasmaC and in the conversational tab I keep getting the error message. I tried on two computers and get the same errors.
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/qtvcp/lib/qtplasmac/conv_rectangle.py", line 110, in preview kOffset = float(W.kerf_width.text()) * W.kOffset.isChecked() / 2 ValueError: invalid literal for float(): 1,00
I have pushed the fix for this. I should have used W.kerf_width.value() This also affected a few other shapes.

Thanks Phill, it already works great. I would like to know, are you planning to add a virtual keyboard in the "conversational" tab? For use touch display alone without a keyboard and mouse.

I will probably look at that in the future, I have only recently got a touchscreen for testing. Aat the moment I just use Onboard keyboard.Thanks Phill, it already works great. Sorry for rushing in, but earlier on i found 2 new topics about THC not moving/reacting/following material (was on another PC), and i did notice that after installing QtPlasmaC on the big machine yesterday, checked a bit today and sure enough it does react/move/follow, but at an abysmally slow rate even with PID settings set at maximum values.
Is there something i am missing ?
And LinuxCNC complains about old style debounce...
Later,
sorry

I have been meaning to get rid of that as well, I need to look around to see if I can find some more time...And LinuxCNC complains about old style debounce...
