Yeh, its always been flying. Just sometimes the flight is more painful than others. I'm glad the Python 3 thing is over and Phil has got QTPlasmaC where it needs to be.Is this spaceship flying yet?

Alternative wording might be to come and have a gander!

You guys crack me up...lol
ok, so python3 issues all cleared up? You running Debian 11? I have a year old qtplasmac I have to upgrade. Would you suggest Debian 11?
I really need to get this machine updated. I just finished QTPlasmac machine and the latest stuff is amazing.
IS the buildbot up to date with the latest Debian?

I know Joco and a few others as well as myself are using Debian 11.
There is no buildbot for it yet so I had to compile from source
I ended up building the debs as well but it takes a long time for them to build but it does get all the menus in place.
Andy mentioned they have one of the Debian guys on board so the next step is likely to be including Linuxcnc into the Debian repositories so that PREEMPT_RT is installed as a dependency. That will be super exciting! No more ISO's
Pretty sure Phil has said the buster ISO and deb install of master is working but I wanted nothing to do with Python2!

hey rod
I saw you fantastic videos
I think you have some difficulty with touchscreen
you should have bug buttons and touchable tabs
Other thing is touch should mimic a mouse pointer it should open with single touch not double touch
Thank you for the videos
Cheers

am just a user who sometimes has ideas the devs sometimes implement!
I suspect the double touch is user error on my part.
Its nice to see MonoKrom slowly taking shape. Its already got some of my ideas in it too (and bigger buttons!)

Thanks. You will have to talk to PhilC about the screen layout. Its his baby. I have previously echoed your thoughts about button layout.hey rod
