True it uses the servo thread but people are getting real time errors due to too much jitter.
Why posting config files and comparing to those without real time errors should help clear this up.
Months ago it was discovered "On a OPi+2e booted with isolcpus=1,2,3 idle=poll and the speed forced to max."

forum.linuxcnc.org/18-computer/39037-lin...ncnc?start=90#200199
"I also had to turn the Compositing OFF in the desktop settings to speed up desktop movement. Again, I'm using the 512MB Opi One here with H3. Core clock governor at 1200 MHz min and max. "

Hi Bari,
Yes, I notice that if I open a browser will lead to unexpected realtime dalay issue.
But other then that, Why I need to do other job on such small board?
I would just use it on the motion control, as long as it wouldn't fail the job on the halfway.
Please see attached for my config file.

Thank you for posting your configuration. I've tried using your files and the same joint following error occurs. I think it may be related to recent changes in the project source git after you have your installation done. Yesterday I even managed to install Armbian Focal image on another card. Lastest Focal version does have Lima accelerated graphics out of the box. I was expecting it would offload the CPU. Get everything working was a little tedious. I had to manually download lots of packages to solve linuxcnc dependencies until the installation script finished without errors resulting in a working environment. Now I have an working Ubuntu Focal and a Debian Buster installations.
I know it's a too much to ask, but I would know if someone with an Orange Pi PC (not the plus version) running without joint errors would kindly generate an image of his working SD card and upload somewhere. This way I can eliminate any hardware related problems, like bad quality SD cards or a defective board itself. I don't believe it is the case, I'm more inclined to link my problem to something software related. Once I have this figured out I can try to contribute compiling a new RT Kernel, doing some tests with the Mali binaries (they are mainline now) which seems to be more stable and fast, etc.

Hi Dolence
I'm happy to help, because I think this project is such helpful for me and also for people who want fast STEP speed but with out MESA board.
Have you try the ISO that I clone from my SD card below? It for Orange PI PC 1G memory version.
