the pin number on the config.txt file is "P4_17"

{
"Thread": "Servo",
"Type": "Digital Pin",
"Comment": "XIN",
"Pin": "P4_17",
"Mode": "Input",
"Data Bit": 17,
"Invert": "True"
},

I have to write like this in the .hal file?

# ---X Axis Inputs---
# X Home Prox
net XHome joint.0.home-sw-in <= remora.input.17

I installed the nvmpg component but I still have the same error with the command
sudo halcompile --install nvmpg.c.

I have a Linux Mint LMDE 6 Faye version, it may be too old?

I think I misread that first error,
Code:
[HAL] HALFILE = NVEM.hal HALFILE = qtplasmac_comp.hal HALFILE = xhc-whb04b-6.hal HALFILE = custom.hal POSTGUI_HALFILE = postgui_call_list.hal.

remove the xhc-whb04b-6.hal
