Why is there a frame of what seems to be the "Eurythmics" singer in the vid when LinuxCNC is mentioned ???
Subliminal images ? For brain control ?

he pronounces Linux more like Lennox, he already did this on the last video. And I was laughing quite hard then.

As an english native speaker who has been mainly speaking german for a couple od decades, some of my pronounciation gets pretty screwed up. "LinoxCNC" is one I cant seem to shake, and I keep getting a lot of comments telling me I am pronouncing it wrong. No shit Flashing up Annie seems to have stopped the pronounciation police.

I now have the 7i85sx2D bit flashed and the SS ports and encoder pins show up. I connected a 7i73 to SS0 on the 7i85, and it is getting power, but giving the red watchdog timer fail light. I rechecked the wiring and it seems correct, now that I swapped brown and Br/Wh in the correct order :/, but after a restart it is still only giving a red watchdog fail, and none of the 7i73 pins show up in "show pin"
Any ideas?
Also, what is the latest on reducing latency? This is an HP Elitedesk G2, and I have turn off everything in bios except the USB ports, but the latency is pretty bad with 2.8.2 and buster. I am seeing over a million ns.

IIRC, TX+ to RX+, TX- to RX-, and vice versa for the other two wires.

removing sound modules and beep. and isolcpus=1 (or what ever you need) brought me down quite a bit.

Sorry if this isn't the right place, I googled but couldn't find better.
To retrofit a SCaublin 32 CNC milling machine, it's a good idea to have the manuals, right?
In manuals I am a bit limited, I only have the diagram or schematic of the electrical part, and the Spindle drive manual.
About the axis drives I have nothing.
Without this manual is it possible to retrofi?
Axle drives are Socapel Socadyn SA3
I will be grateful for your help.

It just occurred to me (while watching "The BlackList"), the "Eurythmics" singer was named Ann Lenox !!!

That was for RotarySMP regarding the video.
Alexandre, it would be best to start a new topic and upload more pictures of the machine and cabinet, diagrams you have, and yank on of the drives out and check if there is silk screening on the board regarding pinouts.
