What issues do you have remaining?

Well hooking up the Plasma and cutting a g-code, I have made the interconnecting cable for the signals, the Arc Ok signal checks out the the torch fire relay clicks. Maybe Monday will be the day.

That is great, you can now see light at the end of the tunnel...

Can I hear a great Amen, And it is all due to the help from the member of the Linuxcnc forum.

 

It is alive     I still need to calibrate the motor travel and a few other things but it does cut.

Cool, A bit of fine tuning and you will be good to go... 

I did motor tuning and have things working well. It seems like I need to change the voltage divider setting in the Hypertherm to 20:1 (now at 50:1), I know how to do it in the Hypertherm. I know it was set in the Pnccofig originally but don't know where to change it in the INI or other file. I do see where to change the setting for the Ohmic for the THCAB-5, but not the range for the THCAD-10. Is there a way??

Ok after snooping around I think I found where I need to make the change for the voltage divider value.  Using the calculator that is on line and making the change to 20:1 the new value is 0.00758833 for the THCAD-10 I have per the sticker on the back.  This is done in the qtplasmac.prefs file. please let me know if this is correct.
 
 
 

thanks Tommy I thought that was where is was from the post above. Great help again, I hope that corrects the lost arc message I was getting.
