Lcvette, that looks good! The lathe people might be happy, yet : )
If we could have 3-views like that with measurement indicators that match the tool table, which I think* wonder* perhaps* are x,y,z,a,b,c....it would be good for the lathe tool menu. The reflection may cost clarity with the moderate 348px resolution of the menu picture.
If the tools are made as generic as possible it will prevent people from adding tools that have only slightest variation until the program crashes.
Currently with a 1920x1080 interface, the tool picture is 384px square, though for the future it should be outputted larger and then we can resample them smaller. Somewhere down the road, this could be 4k interface.
*Having a lathe person who understands which dimensions are important is a valuable asset, such as yourself.

I can use a plain white background for the image. I'm not sure about the other stuff you said about 348px etc. Sorry, I just did a screen print and posted in Microsoft paint an me saved as a JPEG. I will send over the views , if you can sketch what you want on them right I can add to the models, or send me examples etc how you want it to look.

BTW, seeing that you are a Windows user, you know about Irfanview, right?
www.irfanview.com/
It's good for conversion and pasting. You have to tame the file associations, and change the ugly text font it shows over the picuture, but it's handy. It has a thumbnailer too.
For photo editing, there is the Gimp. Adobe screwed up and released CS2 free for all a few years ago. It might still be available.
BTW, we should avoid including drawings of products that have strongly trademarked or fiercely patented. We can't bring a nastygrams down on LinuxCNC.

I don't think there is anything to worry about with tool holders, they are fairly common and these are not brand specific. I'm not familiar with that site I'll check it out tomorrow.
For that tool window image, what is your thought process? Do you want to be able to select different tool images to match the type tool? Ie, facemill, flat endmill, ball endmill, drill, chamfer Mill, fly cutter, corner round, tap, threadmill, boring bar, bullnose Mill, etc? Or?

Try saving as a PNG as the background should be transparent. The graphics will be larger but for this application, size does not really matter (eg. not a website download issue). And yes, definitely get Irfanview.
