I use cat5e 1m and 0.25m.
Is that the problem?

Yes, you were right.
It was EMC problems.
I have now purchased CAT6 cables and made sure that no loops form. The error EtherCAT WARNING 0-1: Slave did not sync after 5000 ms has disappeared and I am currently having no problems with the Y-axis.
Thank you very much for the tip.

In the meantime, I was testing around with the HOME_ABSOLUTE_ENCODER = 2 setting in axis SIM. It turns out that there might be a positional accuracy issue when homing. Ive created a github Issue for it already. It seems like its reading the joint position and not the encoder position when setting the new home so on re-home, it shifts the axis location in software by your home-offset value while hardware remains the same.

Hi,
What did you use for noise filters on the servos?
I can't find any information anywhere.

Ferrite beads on the motor wires near the drive are usually a must, and having an LC filter on the mains side never hurts.

Hi, I have now made some changes and am not experiencing any more problems for the time being.
1. I had Ethercat running on two network cards.
I have now combined them into one card and made sure that it has an Intel chip.
2. I have made the following changes in ethercat.xml:
appTimePeriod="1000000" >>> appTimePeriod="2000000"
sync0Shift=“25000” >>> sync0Shift="50000"
Since then, the errors have disappeared and the servos are ready immediately.
3. I have attached ferrite cores to the Ethercat cables.
The ferrite cores for the servos have been ordered.

Hey Guys, I’m pretty new here.
I have a little Problem with configuring my Stepper online A6 Servo Drive. I want to use torque homing but I can not Figure Out wich Parameters I need to set in the Drive.
And I also Think that my Linux CNC Config is wrong. Can maybe someone with more experience then me help me
Liebe Grüße
