If you look at the picture with the raspberry pi and the main board you'll actually notice that he doesn't even have that wire installed

Mesa 7i95T PID tuning for velocity mode

Category: Advanced Configuration

Regarding the selection of servo motors, I would like to know if the XINJE DS5L-PTA servo driver is suitable? It supports 5v pulses to directly run the external speed mode, and can set 1000khz to reach the rated frequency without converting analog 10v. Sorry, I can't find the English manual. I can only open the Chinese web page. This is translated by Google, so it may not be expressed correctly.

I updated the links in the first posts.

Now if I can figure out how to code a plotter Flex GUI will be complete.

gmoccapy router wont run

Category: Gmoccapy

Hi Guys,   I am using the gmoccapy screen and all seems to working okay except the router won't run. I last used Axis which had a hot key but can't find one here, as a start. I am running a Probotix Unity controller, Probotix computer and Probotix motors. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Tool Library Error

I move this from from the "Plasmac Post Processors" subject as it has nothing to do with Plasmac Post Processors.

One idea might be for you to be more specific.  What program did you export the tool library from?  It would probably be helpful if you posted the exported tool library here as well.  Otherwise it's impossible to help you.

Program progress bar - is there any default

The total program time could be difficult to estimate. This is possible to do so, but you need to do some calculations
over the entire trajectory.

It sounds simple, but i looked at the vertical scrollbar of the gcode file to get a indication of how far program is.
I did know how long a program usually took. 10-12 minutes for me.

@JT,

In a few post earlyer you mentioned:
Qt Creator is for C++ and Qt Designer is for python.

The qt designer creates .ui files that can be used with qt creator.

The link is broken:
gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flex/index.html
Made a new link for you:
gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/index.html
github link

I want to say, i really like your work. A few years ago when i started linuxcnc,
i followed your gtk course gnipsel.com/glade/index.html.

I think you can also do widget overlay in the gremlin screen these days to show dro's.

Binary encoder - Sauter SK-501 turret - Strobe diagram of functions

Category: Advanced Configuration

I think it is not necessary, for that you can use the strobe signal, which guarantees the valid position.

Binary encoder - Sauter SK-501 turret - Strobe diagram of functions

Thanks for your feedback. Is it mandatory to connect the parity pin for a binary encoder? Because the parity pin of my encoder is not connected. For a bidirectional rotation I had the same idea by muxing the output numbers but you need to know if the first rotation is in cw or ccw. We'll wait for andypugh and hope he sees our request. As for the solenoid, watching the video in slow motion, I get the impression that it's activated when the pre-indexing sensor changes state. So your solution may be valid.

Interesting, what Hal are you currently using to control that turret, could you share?

Thanks I got it fixed by poking around the wiring in the control board, couple loose wires that were giving intermittent signals I think.
