Hi Arciera,

cd ~/linuxcnc-2.9.3/cmake/build
remove all items in this build dir.
cmake ..
make -j6
make install 

This will compile tpmod & tpmod_scurve and install them in the ~/rtlib.

For now the tpmod_scurve is a duplicate of tpmod, as the code for the scurve has to
be integrated next week. But nevertheless you can test the build and test if it loads in lcnc.

its a 5v ttl  folloing the paper i found  
for info of the drivers  is a bigger isue  
i can folow the color of the wires  so i have anidea what is input signal +/- 10v  there is also the drive enable   and  a 3th wire where i haven't any idea what it can do 
maybe some of the people here use or had info about that driver  ?

Hey guys, I used to be able to use the straight cut button to make quick cuts across sheets, but now I always receive an error and I'm not able to make the cuts anymore. I think something happened with my .ini file awhile back but I see no issues. I can make programmed g-code cuts just fine. No matter how much I change the coordinates or where I'm at on the table I receive the same error. I've attached a screenshot of the error with my .ini file. I feel like this should be something obvious but I can't see the issue.

OK that looks like a rod421m.0000,3600 which is a 5V TTL
or possible differential interface encoder which is good

I'm havin a hell of a bumpy start getting that ancient 2013 'ISE WebPACK' working under linux. Haven't tried windows yet. Is there anything like a lil more updated so to have those Spartan-6 working again?... or that's legacy rated already?

Mind sharing your eda/toolchain set-up? that'd be good info

edit: never mind/ignore. I had it. Took an hour to set-up the licensing, ./xsetup doing nothing, to having it installed but randomly crashing after 3 clicks, to realizing that I can't even access my usb ports anymore right now. Won't put up with this crap thank you very much. FORMAT HDD - Bye Spartans - back in the abandoned legacy gizmo box.

i take the encoder out of the machine and had a clear vieuw of the number  and there was another rcd in frond 
the whole number is  rcd 421m.0000, 3600
i already found also  th original box of the encoder with inside the  color code of the wires 
 

I cannot find that Heidenhain encoder, are you sure you have the number correct?

Well bad news, tried to login with my old u/p and discord locked me up under the infamous pretext of "we've detected something unusual" so to fetch my mobile number & data for verification. a.k.a internet hacky-services I do not subscribe too anymore.
