If it works, it works. Few people have licensed the F360 nesting module so Sheetcam gives them well priced nesting that has good integration to qtplasmc. And it runs on Linux as well as Windows. Plus you can import tools from sheetcam into plasmac. The SC post might have tighter integration with plasmac as Les Newell the owner of Sheetcam has been known to do a bit of development with linuxcnc too.

Yup, some good points there. Probably F360 for those on a budget, and when you are making one off parts that are designed in 360 and/or part of a bigger assembly.

Sheetcam for anything else... It is definitely more cost effective.

I would still be keen to get the F360 post processor working properly...

FYI... I have updated the post processor to resolve this issue. Refer to forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/38438-plasmac...sors?start=10#289146

John Saunders of "NYC CNC" on YouTube has some good videos on modifying the F360 post processor.

I installed the fusion360 post processor from here  forum.linuxcnc.org/plasmac/38438-plasmac-post-processors#159042 and I am unable to get it to produce valid gcode successfully. I am trying to cut out a simple 10" sign and this is the error message I get every time I try to load the gcode into qtplasmac. I also cannot see the part on the screen. Attached is my post process window, can someone please guide me on how to proceed correctly making gcode files with fusion360 thanks!

It means you’re calling a material number that doesn’t exist/is not set up in qtplasmac. Simply create a material with the appropriate settings on the parameters tab with the material number you’re referencing and all should be well.
