A GUI should never have an Estop button, just an indicator.Oh, how about switching all the yellow to red when estop is active? Speaking of which the gui needs an estop button doesn't it?

I was also suggesting this.
What I meant to ask what's the smallest physical screen size that's comfortable to use?
I also think 15" should be nice. I recently purchased an Asus VT168H 15" touch screen which is nice. Native resolution is 1366 x 768. Only issue is its a capacitive screen so not usable with work gloves. It is very nice size mounted in an enclosure with an Odroid H2+
See www.asus.com/au/Monitors/VT168H/
Thats my plan for this when you guys are done..

But don't both axis and gmoccapy have an estop button? ... now I'm confused
Anyway, turning the screen red or otherwise indicating disabled when estop is active might be useful.

It should remember last location.
But Still for myself I will try to stick with USB or network drive

The "Estop" on a GUI should really only be an indicator to display the fact that a real Estop has occurred. At worst it could possibly be part of the Estop reset chain.

An Estop button should be exactly that, a hardware button that renders the machine safe. Estop should not rely on a soft button. But don't both axis and gmiccapy have an estop button? ... now I'm confused

In emergency, no one should run for a Mouse or touchpad.
Physical ESTOP is the way to go.
There can be a indicator for Estop on GUI.

That would be good. I really like the simple clean look of your GUI. Do you mind it I replicate it?
