How is your 5i25 cable shielded? Do you have a good earth on that going directly to the pc's metal frame? Can you put some ferrites over that cable?
Dont laugh, maybe winding that cable (if long enough) around a piece of ferrite may change things.

Ah ok, that changes the picture somewhat, I got the impression that it only reset when you started your config. Then changing the PC would be my first step as well.
Lets see if that fixes the problem for you.
[edit]
I presume with "Linux" you mean LinuxCNC

Sometimes the PC crashes without Linux started, but that´s rather rare. Like 1 out of 100.
I´ll try another pc today.

Yesterday evening ive replaced the computer with my desktop pc. at first it was running for 1 hour straight and i was like "okay itś the computer" when i was about to send a message to my wife that ive solved the problem, the fucking thing crashed again
I took the Linux pc out of the cabinet and tried again. For sure it crashed several times but i could see the red LED cr4 on the 5i25 flashing and lighting almost all the time. Sometimes on, sometimes off. When the led was off the pc was running quite good, when it lit red the system crashed or the other way round. i can t say what happens first, crash or red led.
But i can say, if the led stood off, the system kept running.
So i ve taken the linuxpc home with me and set the whole thing up on the livingroom table. My wife is raging.
I ve reinstalled debian linuxcnc thingy, ran updates and flashed the mesa 5i25 with mesflash update.
The whole setup is now running from one poweroutlet.
For the 5v supply i ve got some other power supply i found in my "use for later stuff" box.
So the system is running with linuxcnc on and one 24v pin enabled for like 15h straight. No red led, never.
Soooooooo these are the possible things that happened:
Debian corrupted
two out of three 5V PSU not suitable
better grounding due common Poweroutlet
corrupted mesa 5i25 firmware
There is still a very high risk that this whole setup won t work in the shop.....
But as far as i know now. The system even crashes when the Maho is turned off. And it crashed on two different Computers.
So there is only a few parts left that can cause the crashes.
Mesa cards
Powersupplies
new SSD
Soft- or Firmware

A flashing red light on the 5I25 card means that the PCs 3.3V power is marginal
(dropping below 3.1V so resetting the 5I25)

EDIT:
Had written alot yesterday, closed the window and the text was gone.
So in short:
1 glassscale, everything ok. (doesn´t matter wich axis i connect)
2 glassscales sometimes crash
3 glasscales very often instant crash and sometimes crash after 30 minutes.
I´ve measured the scales and they give 0V and 3V signals. Seems okay to me.
Is there a way to power the 5i25 from an external source but the PCI slot ?
EDIT2:
"startup I/O Voltage"
does that happen when you start the computer or LinuxCNC ?
Could explain the restarts when starting linuxcnc ?

Not really, the 5I25 is only reset by a low 3.3V rail from the PC power supply

I would try another PC power supply, flashing red lights from the 5I25 most likely mean a bad ATX power supply (low 3.3V)

as i said before, it´s not flashing and i´ve tried with a whole other computer.
The CR4 LED goes on and stays lit
