I cannot see anything obvious, the three setp lines in connections.hal have a couple of tabs in front but I don't think thart would cause any issues.

Strange that it gives lost arc error on the second cut.

Have you done a few probe tests to confirm it ends up at the correct height.

This connections.hal will debounce the Arc OK signal if you want to give it a try.

You will need to restart LinuxCNC after you copy it to your config folder.

If this doesn't help you may need to do a few Halscope plots for us.

in mode 1. I notice there is now pause for arc to establish . program just starts and the plasma cut does not go all the way through with in the 10mm of start point . I will try the debounce file tomorrow.

Increase the Pierce Delay.

Is you OK to move signal wired directly to the 7i96 or through a solid state or mechanical relay.
