OK I was bale to install mesa flash but how does this tool work is it a program for firmware files you want to install to board? If so what are some steps I need to do to open up other encoder ports?

Do I need to be connected to mesa card when running the mesa flash? I already installed it when I was connected to internet. Now I need to disco lan cable and switch to the card.

A bunch of internet searching but I got it needed to add the address of the board to the command
cd mesaflash
mesaflash --device 7i96 --addr 10.10.10.10 -- write 7i96pl.bit
it flashed the .bit
then it asked to power cycle board
mesaflash --device 7i96 --addr 10.10.10.10 -- reload
it reloaded it
and thats it?
Do I need to install any more files or fixes?

oh ok got it let me do that. It created a file and I can see the pins thanks for that
I am new to the mesa cards so I am trying to see where I am going to put my signal wires for limit switches and probe for float switch and a ohmnic sense. And also the arc ok and stuff like that for plasma. I also saw that the gui axis looks different its more for a lathe setup with mist and coolant button is this normal? I want to soon do the plasmac version of 2.9 I have the base 2.9 axis.

Yes I had set it up just basic with no inputs yet wanted to make sure I was able to open up the GUI as I was getting errors yesterday but figured it out. I want to make sure I can get signals to all my stepper drivers and motors once I build it on the kitchen table before I go in building table. I have a small table right now running 2.9 plasmac and it works awesome but connected to a chinese board with only 4 inputs so I was limited thats why I went with the mesa as it has more inputs and stuff. Then the THCAD cards also.

Where is it ?
On a side note, did you really have to set everything possible in the wizard ? You are running a plasma cutter, so flood, mist, bi-directional spindle, brake, are pretty much useless .
