You could right click the attachment and save it directly.

Try from a terminal:
linuxcnc ~/linuxcnc/configs/the_plasma_cutter/the_plasma_cutter.ini

In a terminal type this:
cat ~/linuxcnc/configs/the_plasma_cutter/the_plasma_cutter_connections.hal > ~/connections.txt

Then attach the connections.txt file created in your home directory to your next post.

This is from the file you just posted:
net plasmac:arc-ok-in hm2_7i96.gpio.009.in => db_arc-ok.in
net plasmac:float-switch hm2_7i96.gpio.03.in => db_float.in
# net plasmac:breakaway {YOUR BREAKAWAY PIN} => db_breakaway.in
# net plasmac:ohmic-probe {YOUR OHMIC PROBE PIN} => db_ohmic.in
# net plasmac:ohmic-enable plasmac.ohmic-enable  => {YOUR OHMIC ENABLE PIN}
net plasmac:torch-on => hm2_7i96.0.ssr.00.out-02
net plasmac:move-up hm2_7i96.gpio.010.in => plasmac.move-up
net plasmac:move-down hm2_7i96.gpio.008.in => plasmac.move-down

ALL the input pins are wrong, you must be editing a different file to this one.
