Only change on 2.7.12 was adding Touch and the update / upgrade

Do you have a intel MAC? (check with dmesg | grep eth)

The hm2_eth manual page describes setting the RX IRQ coalescing option

man hm2_eth

Just started another run with 4 GLX Gears

and this is from last july and have been working OK with 2.7.12

Seems similar but the OS version is different

My guess is this is either OS version related or that you have had some hardware failure coincident with the linuxCNC version change

OK, seems to a bit bad to try to 'go back'.

Just thinking out load, would removing the 2.7.13 version via dpkg and installing the 2.7.12 version and booting with the 4.9.0-3 kernel be worth a try ?

Would it still be possible to checkout 2.7.12 via git ? And trying a run in place

Ok after a bit of delving I was able to work out how to use git to get the 2.7.12 checked out. Got rip to build and simulate and then built the required debs as well. I was just wondering if the uspace packages thru synaptic are tied to a certain kernel version..maybe not or they might "fall apart" with the updated packages.
Like I said the "Debian Way" is kinda new to this fossil.
