Not sure if this will help but,
in my bookworm sticky under installing linucnc, grab the ISO from my google drive which I updated last night.
I had some help from the ethercat guys with this ISO. The big change is that they have met with Sasha Itnner who wrote the hal driver and it was agreed that they would host the hal driver on their repository for him and my new installer which should get to the linuxcnc downloads page. That means my new ISO is probably the gold standard for ethercat and linuxcnc. (They refer to this sticky in one of their examples for how to install it all)
CoE drives implies they are CIA402 devices. A quick look at your xml seemed to confirm this. Refer to the first post again and install dominic's component for these devices. Perhaps try using it.
Its pretty well documented on his repo and my example on my rep referred to there. This could require some changes to your XML

All the links I found with your iso tell me its in your trash:
drive.google.com/file/d/1s2Te9JtXxb8yB9r.../view?usp=drive_link
Let me know where the most up to date link is and I"ll give it a shot!
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Paul

Hello Rodw,
I'm super noob in programming but with your guide I installed Ethercat master and connected Panasonic A6B Servo successfully. Everything working well, I have some fundamental Queries
1) I have 5 Servo drives in link. When i power on linuxcnc it power on drives but any random axis is not powering on, i.e. not locking. And still linuxcnc shows axis is ok and ready to home. I'm clueless what I'm missing?? After seeing this I have question how to get servo ready signal into linuxcnc so it doesn't go in false operation. How to interlock servo state ??
2) Servo encoder are absolute with battery backup. I search throughout but I'm clueless how to get absolute system working on Is there any relevant information? Throw some light
3) Machine is Gantry type so I'm confused how to adjust gantry right angle (aka tramming) with absolute encoders??
Thanks

The link to google drive image at the top is outdated(broken) maybe should be switched to the
linuxcnc.org/downloads/
since it has the newest image you have created (thanks!)
