Yes we are interested in potential screen alternatives. We don't you post some pics.
Master is fine for digging out the hidden bugs assuming the major functions work.
I have a 'best/preferred practice' page for GUIs I should add it to master.

How are you testing now? Are you installing the files in the config folder?

Awesome!

Start with the cia402 example and only add stuff from the manual you need

Calling pockets with carousel

Category: Basic Configuration

That would explain my issue. I thought it was odd when I read the M-code explanation of M68. I was calling it without ever setting it...  I now see that section in the toolchangers for dummies video.
I will try "net car-pos-req motion.analog-out-00 => conv-float-s32.0.in"
And "net car-pos-s32 conv-float-s32.0.out => carousel.0.pocket-number"

Thank you for saving me Andy!

I just tuned my omron ethercat servos. I fear manual tuning on these lichuans, haha. How are you doing it, just scoping it in twincat or linuxcnc? or do they have an app?

Alright, I lied, I haven't given up yet :P
I went and tuned the X and Y. not perfect, but tracks within a couple microns and overshoots only 4-10 microns during 1G acceleration. Also only deviates 2-3 microns when I yank on the spindle with all my weight while moving.

If i can get the linuxcnc part going this thing is gonna rip :)

To use your modified version, put the .ui file in:
YOUR CONFIGURATION FOLDER/qtvcp/screens/qtaxis/
use the name qtaxis.ui

Qtvcp should load your modified .ui file.

Custom mcodes

Category: O Codes (subroutines) and NGCGUI

Hello im currenttly working on a latthe rettrofit. The tailstock on the machine works by movving the z axis so it is aligned with the tailstock then a pin gets hydraullically pressed into the tailstock so when you now move the z axis it brings along the tailstock so you can move it to the desired position. Does anybody have a idea how i can make this. I tried to use a m100-199. But then i saw you canttt use subroutines. Otherwise ittt would be perfect since you can use its related parameters to set where you want to place the tailstock. Is it possible to use parameters with unallocatted mcode. So you could maybe do like a m20p200?

No, just reverse to get pulldowns vs pullups.
You can cut pin 10 but it does nothing but waste a few mW.

Yes I know. I dug up another SSD for my GIGABYTE mini pc so I’m going to do a completely fresh install without compromising my original HD.

Seems like you are trying to set the feed the twice (in gcode and in the material)
I really think you should update QTplasmac.

base pin1 is 5v and base pin10 is gnd
if connect resistor in reverse 5v will connected to port pins through last resistor.
Is it better to cut pin10 of resistor network ?
