Not related to your communication issue but do you have
isolcpus=11 in you kernel command line?

(pinning the IRQ to the last CPU wont help much if its not isolated)

I bring this crazy question and hope its already been done. A few days ago I saw a fibre laser run along and sense the layout of the material. Is it possible to get a similar function using ohmic, in allowing contact to be made and run along the sheet till the signal drops off? or better yet pick up a signal when its a smidge above the material so as to not run a grove in the metal and damage the tip?

If you want to edit the panel that has the camerra, using Designer is best.
It's possible to hand edit the .UI file but very error prone.

Input/output error is usually failing hard drive or inability to read/write to it.

1-3m/m should be enough for cutting, so depending on tube diameter adjust accordingly by multiplying that diameter with the PI value of 3.1415....

After not using my table for a couple of weeks, I am getting this error when opening a file.  after seeing this I took the opportunity to upgrade to latest version hoping it might sort it but it is still exactly the same.  It was working fine last time I used it.  Any thoughts?The filter program 'qtplasmac.gcode' that was filtering ***.ngc exited with an error.

i have a question for anybody who does rotary plasma cutting. what kind of rpm range do you need on a rotary plasma system on the rotary axis? i'm checking into unions and these have a 100 rpm limit unless you upgrade the seals then i think they can do 300 rpm which is probably overkill. is 100 rpm enough or do i need a little extra. i'm guessing the part diameter factors in since the piece is rotating but i'm just looking for a general range of speed needed if anyone has a moment to reply.
