I got a confusing message :It was after update LinuxCNC and I suspected error in new code.
I have spent few hours, before I found reason of this error.
Simply I wrote in ini file :not :Each typo ends with this error, I think it would be good to prevent it.
Regards.
File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/gmoccapy/widgets.py", line 42, in __getitem__
raise IndexError, "No widget %widget" % attr
ValueError: unsupported format character 'w' (0x77) at index 11
I have spent few hours, before I found reason of this error.
Simply I wrote in ini file :
EMBED_TAB_LOCATION = ntb_user_tab
EMBED_TAB_LOCATION = ntb_user_tabs
Regards.

Small feature request, not that important: when I want to scroll through a loaded G-code program in the 'auto mode screen' I am stuck with the default tiny scroll-buttons. My touchscreen is not super-accurate, so these are a bit cumbersome to use.
Being able to scroll like we do on an Android phone (touch and drag) would be nice. But probably hard to implement I suppose?

Hello
I installed LinuxCNC-dev 2.7.0 and 1.1.5.3 gmoccapy run in place.
change the configuration works fine on my machine but when it goes into the tool change position specified in the ini file give this error:
linear move in line 21 exceeds axis 1 positive limit.
actually reaches the right position in my case y -200
x-axis and z-axis are fine.
after this error the key mdi no longer in effect
thanks in advance
Mauro

Hallo Mauro,
have you checked this line?
TOOL_CHANGE_POSITION = 100 100 -10
This line will be used by the normal linuxcnc toolchange.
Do you use integrated tool chnage or the remaped version?
Please try commenting out the above mentioned line.

but message says: it is not possible to change to auto mode at moment.
Mauro
edit
enter mdi mode type m6 t1 probe correct but says: parameter #<workpiece_height> not defined
edit
renamed parameter #<workpiece_height> to #<block_height> in change.ngc and seems to work.
The last problem is this: it is not possible to change to auto mode at moment.
thanks to the availability and the excellent work.

if you load a program runs but when changing tool displays change.ngc without returning to the main program.
runs but always displaying change.ngc.
I have to leave now, I enclose change.ngc to see if it has problems
thanks
