I deleted the last one because it was definitely wrong, so give this one a try.
Rename ~/linuxcnc-dev/configs/by_machine/plasmac/plasmac_run.py to keep as a backup
Copy this new plasmac_run.py to ~/linuxcnc-dev/configs/by_machine/plasmac/
See how it goes.

Works great! Everything seems to work exactly as it should (or at least how I expect it to)!
I like how the gas defaults to 0 between modes. Good touch.
Up to 32 ounces (or one quart) now I guess!
Thanks for taking the time to get this polished up! Much appreciated and I am sure many will benefit from it.

Always happy to do testing; I enjoy it.
I could ship you some Hershey's dark chocolate... I live pretty close to Chocolate World.

so, I just noticed that the diagram for the location of pin 1 on the hypertherm in the user guide is different than what I see at my machine.
Pics attached. I couldnt find anything on hypertherm's end to verify.
Inside is with the connector pulled out of the machine. it's actually upside down in this pic (green is at the bottom). Also, I never messed with these, it's how it came pre wired from the factory.
outside obv shows my setup, with ground in pin 5 (at the bottom).
