net plasmac:torch-on => hm2_7i96.0.ssr.00.out-00
net plasmac:arc-ok-in hm2_7i96.0.gpio.007.in => plasmac.arc-ok-in
Yes on my machine the one that I am running the code on
net plasmac:arc-ok-in hm2_7i96.0.gpio.007.in => debounce.0.3.in
net plasmac:arc-debounce debounce.0.3.out => plasmac.arc-ok-in

Thanks, not a sign of any contact bounce. Do you now have a machine with ArcOK built in? I remember you started with one that didn't.

Thanks, so I take it that Dean will be adding a resistor to his ArcOK now?
I would not bother debouncing his machine then.
I will do some tests but was not at the shop today. Hopefully, I can capture a plot at full resolution.
It would be interesting to get one on a Hypertherm.

I thought the issue here was the torch not firing?

@Clive, try it without Pierce Only mode, you shouldn't need that for spotting.

So Clive, just confirming you just want to spot where a hole centre is, not pierce only over a whole sheet? Thats what the original topic suggested. I suspect some of your issues are lack of familiarity with Sheetcam,
I suspect from what you have said you have not yet set up all your tools in sheetcam and synced your toolset to Plasmac.
That is a prerequisite which I don't think you have done.
Also in options, change the file extension from .tap to .ngc.
Here is what I do if I want to spot holes. I've been doing this since pre-plasmac.
1. Select the holes I want to spot and move them to a new layer. I usually call it "holes"
2. Create a drill operation on that layer. Use the "Centre Spot" tool for this operation
3. Create a Jet tool operation on the other layer for outside offset. Use the correct tool for the material for this operation. Use an outside offset.
4. Check the start points on any slots or internal holes remaining are indeed showing the leadins to be on the right side of the cut (eg. treated as inside offset
5. Simulate the job in sheetcam at 500% cutting speed.
6. Run the post processor ( I have it set to save in the linuxcnc ngc folder).
7, Open the job in Linuxcnc and run it.
