Not sure but i might have a MB with two ETH ports, well i am sure i have a board with two ports, not sure if it has a Marwel chip on one of them.
Back in the day they had link diagnosing as standard feature, would even show roughly how far the cable is cut, besides what wire and the resistance and stuff.
Don't know what happened to them...

I reported a few posts back that Intel works with new kernels.
Still some Intel NIC need coalescing set to 0, but i never needed that.

As established some pages back (e.g. here and here - again with an e1000e Intel NIC) this problem is not specific to Realtek NICs. And "new" kernels (as in 5.10) does not always work with Intel NICs.

The issue seems to have something to do with the way the Debian kernel is configured, or with some Debian-specific kernel patches, and not with a specific NIC manufacturer. While the problem might go away with a different NIC, no-one has of yet established the exact cause for the problem so changing NICs will be hit-and-miss. What does seem to work is building your own vanilla+rt-patched kernel.

If someone had time to build their own kernel from Debian sources, that would be an interesting test to narrow the cause down further.

Debian documents how to build their kernel here
kernel-team.pages.debian.net/kernel-hand...ml#s-common-official
One day I might gather the courage. It would be interesting to see what has changed between it and the upstream kernel

And I just checked and I have the driver Realtek RTL8125 firmware (rtl_nic/rtl8125a-3.fw) for my NIC. Good thing I don't "need" RT to work on this PC.
